The skies are looking bright tomorrow for another great day at the Old Chelsea Market. We have so many amazing vendors lined up for tomorrow (July 13). Come out and get to know your local producers and artisans. They have so many wonderful products ready to share with you.
We will be showcasing 5 new vendors this week. We have: Veronique-Etienne Lauzon with her hand crafted jewelry; Michael Kinghorn (Blacksmith) with his hand forged decorative ironwork for your home and garden; Shanthini Piyasena (Lisana) with her home cooked Indian food; Apple Road Goat Milks Soaps and Francois Parent with this antique restored furniture. A big welcome to you all.
We have 3 meat producers this week (Big Rock Farm, Peabody Farm and Grassroots Farm) and 3 veggie farmers (Potager Eardley, Ubuntu Gardens and Mexie Farm). And of course all of our regulars will be back (honey, coffee & natural iced teas, almonds, baked goods, tourtieres, Syrian food, soaps, nature cards and our fair trade vendor “Beads of Awareness”).
After dazzling the Chelsea crowds last year with her traditional Japanese instruments, Ryoko Itabashi is back again this week to share her music with you. She will be playing the Japanese guitar (shamisen) and the bamboo flute. Come watch her perform from 4:00 – 7:00. http://www.ryokoitabashi.com/
